Andy Pratt opens the bill for Francis Ford Coppola

Posted by lostincci on May 17, 2012

Professor Andy Pratt is giving a keynote, along with Allen Scott from UCLA, on issues of cities and the cultural economy to open a unique event in Montreal next week (May 22-25)  called ‘Commerce and Creativity’ or  ‘C2-MTL’   see

However, Andy and Allen are opening the bill for some truly global names of the media to follow the next day: Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Eisner and Arianna Huffington. See the agenda here

A parallel conference that Andy and Allen are taking part in is being held at  HEC Montreal on ‘proximity and the cultural economy’ which has a roster of well known academics giving papers.

Andy has also been asked to do a breakfast seminar for the British Consul and invited guests in Montreal.

Looks like a busy week. More news on this channel after the event.
