Good news on the job front for former CMCI PhD students!

Posted by lostincci on September 25, 2012

Despite the recession and what is an incredibly competitive job market, CMCI doctoral students are enjoying considerable success in employment, many of them securing good jobs shortly after graduation. Former students of the Department are now employed across the world in leading academic institutions such as University of East Anglia, Norwich Business School, London, African Centre for Cities, University of Cape Town and the AHRC Creative Works London project. One student, June Chi-Jung Chu, is now Assistant Professor, Graduate Institute of Museum Studies, Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei, Taiwan, while Sabine Uffer has recently been appointed as Research Officer at LSE Cities. Other students have gone on to work at Bournemouth University and University of Greenwich Business School. This all goes to show that King’s and CMCI’s continue to develop a strong reputation for providing world class academic talent and our graduates are well placed to weather the current financial storms.
