The “Digital Double app”, the first fruit of current collaboration between Btihaj Ajana and Headlong Theatre on their new adaptation of Orwell’s ‘1984’, is now up and running. This free-to-use app enables audiences to explore their digital identity profiles and discover how to prevent being watched at every turn. The app also includes filmed interviews and articles discussing the issue of surveillance and the relevance of ‘1984’ to our contemporary society.
