If you have been reading this blog, thinking how much you would like to study with us, but are worried about the cost, then don’t miss this month’s deadline to apply to the King’s Master’s Support Scheme. This offers new awards of £10,000 to study for a master’s degree at King’s.

Two people who are already enjoying their time at CMCI are April Brown and Eleanor Griffiths who successfully applied under a similar “widening participation” scheme.  April explains that she is a first generation graduate from a low income background and says: “I feel extremely privileged to have been given the opportunity to study a great course at such a well-established institution. The holistic support I have received has far exceeded my expectations. This opportunity has proved that the possibilities are endless, you just need to have courage and apply yourself!”

Eleanor adds: “To anyone wanting to apply I’d tell them to go for it – the scheme has without doubt surpassed what I had expected from it in every way. I would also say that it’s important to think about what you want from it, make sure it’s something you’re passionate about, and make sure that comes across in your application!”

You can see the full details and eligibility requirements at: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/pg/funding/sources/scholarships/kings-masters-support-scheme.aspx The deadline is: 4pm on 29 May 2015.
