Feminismus in Pink?

Red Chidgey, Lecturer in Gender and Media, has been interviewed for an article on girl power and fashion in the prestigious German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine. The article is online here:

Here, Dr Chidgey argues in that ‘girl power’ operates as a form of branding in postfeminist culture and that we should not forget its radical roots in the youth subculture Riot Grrrl.
